It was the first time either of us had seen a bear in the wild, so this was very exciting! We decided to sleep at the parking of Ouimet Canyon. The canyon was very impressive and much larger than expected. While preparing to go to bed, we saw a black bear in the distance. We drove closer to take some pictures. The black bear didn&#8217;t seem bothered by us at all and even approached the car. It walked to our parking area and looked for leftover food at the picnic tables. The last part of the hike was extremely steep and exhausting.
